Why do we invest in property?

That is why.
Smack our collective tight ar*s and call us Ebenezer all you want. We are not ashamed to admit that we are primarily motivated by money. Specifically we are trading overseas trips and trendy threads for property deposits and a chance of financial stability for ourselves and our families.
Since we are in it for the money, we have resolved to be more number-savvy this year. After all didn’t mama say, “a penny saved is a penny earned”? So this year we are going to get our heads around net yield, gross yield, interest rates (and savings) and tax saving tips and all the other sexy formulae that will drive up our investment returns.
Additionally, we also want to make it easier for our super awesome members (i.e. you) to get their numbers working for them. So all through 2013 we will be lobbying our sponsors for more assistance and funding to help us develop APIA members only financial tools making your life just a bit easier. Ambitious but achievable. Thoughts, suggestions even donations welcomed. Who is with us?
