Therese Bisquera is a long‑time public‑sector practitioner with a passion for helping people through service delivery and learning and development. After migrating to New Zealand as a teenager with her family and spending many years as a tenant, she brings lived experience and empathy to her role as a property investor. She began her investment journey in 2015, renovating and selling her first home to fund her first rental property with support from family. – could not have done it without them.
Committed to growth, she invested in formal mentorship and became an active APIA member, including contributing as guest speaker, and multiple opportunities as MC. Therese has project-managed a small‑scale subdivision, renovated her family home, joint ventures, and continues to enjoy family time, personal development, volunteering, travelling, and building community connections.
